About Fast Ball
A balance game about keeping a ball on a narrow raised track. There are no rails and nothing to catch you, so the only thing between the ball and the drop is how gently you steer. Momentum carries, which means a correction redirects the ball rather than stopping it โ most falls happen a moment after an overcorrection rather than during one. You can play with tilt or with an on-screen joystick, and tilt sensitivity is adjustable because the setting that feels right differs from person to person.
How to Play
Pick your control method โ tilt or joystick โ from the main menu or the pause screen. Steer the ball along the track. Small, brief inputs hold a line better than holding a direction down. Using tilt, set the sensitivity to suit you, and use dynamic centring whenever your grip changes to reset the neutral position. Reach the end of the level without falling off.
Good to know
One of the few games here where the control method genuinely changes the experience, so it is worth trying both before deciding it is too hard. Tilt needs a phone or tablet; the joystick works anywhere. Short levels and instant restarts make it suited to repeated quick attempts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I use tilt or the joystick?
The joystick is the more precise option and the natural one on a desktop. Tilt suits a phone once the sensitivity is set โ start it low, since most people first try it far too high.
What does dynamic centring do?
It re-reads the neutral position from however you are currently holding the device, so you can play sitting up, lying down or slouched without fighting the tilt.
I keep falling right after correcting. Why?
Momentum carries, so a correction changes the ballโs direction rather than stopping it. Short taps rather than held inputs is what usually gets people past that.
