About Postal Grid solitaire
A sorting puzzle played on an open grid rather than in a row. Stacks of stamps can be moved onto an empty slot or onto a stack whose top matches, and matching stacks combine and clear. Working in two dimensions sounds more forgiving than it is: a stack left in the wrong place blocks routes in every direction rather than just one, so space disappears faster than it looks like it should. Every board can be finished from where it starts.
How to Play
Tap a stack of stamps to pick it up. Move it to an empty slot on the grid, or onto a stack whose top stamp matches. Matching stamps combine and clear, giving the space back. Think about where a stack is going before you move it โ the middle of the board fills up much faster than the edges.
Good to know
More demanding than the other sorting puzzles here, because you are keeping track of a layout rather than a sequence. No timer, so there is no pressure beyond the board itself. A larger screen makes the grid easier to read at a glance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I move a stack to?
An empty slot, or a stack whose top stamp matches yours. Matching stacks combine, which is how you recover space.
Why does the board feel tighter than it looks?
A stack in the middle blocks routes in every direction, not just one. Parking spare stacks near the edges keeps the centre usable for far longer.
Can every level be finished?
Yes, from the starting position. Getting stuck means the space ran out earlier than it appeared to.
