About Gun Up 2048

A number-merging puzzle played through a gun. Numbered balls sit on the board and you fire at them; hitting a matching value combines the pair into the next number up. The difference from a sliding puzzle is that you choose an angle rather than a direction, so a merge you can see is not always a merge you can reach. Balls bounce off the walls, which means the shot around the back of a cluster is often the one worth taking. A full board ends the run.

How to Play

Aim with the mouse or your finger and fire at the numbered balls. Hit a ball carrying the same number as yours and the two combine into the next value up. Balls bounce off the walls, so a bank shot can reach a merge that is not in your direct line. The board fills as you play. Clearing space matters as much as chasing high numbers.

Good to know

Aiming is the whole input, so a mouse gives you slightly finer control than a thumb โ€” though both work. There is no timer, so you can line up a shot for as long as you like. Suits players who enjoy a number puzzle but want something more physical than sliding tiles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I always take the biggest merge available?

Not if it leaves the board crowded. Runs usually end because there is nowhere left to shoot rather than because the numbers stayed low.

Do ricochets count?

Yes. Bouncing a shot off a wall is often the only way to reach something buried behind other balls.

How does a run end?

When the board fills up and there is no space left to work with.
